M&H Racemaster Drag tyres

In 1954 M&H designed the first drag tyre in the world. Since then many of their competitors have tried to copy their rubber compound. M&H provides the best rubber for any of your drag racing traction needs. M&H has DOT approved tyres for street and strip use, DOT cheater slicks (see picture below), drag radials, full slicks, front runners and motorcycle slicks. The technical gurus at M&H spend their weekends at the track helping racers with traction and their valuable knowledge will now be available here in South Africa.

M&H’s street and strip tyre has a defined thread pattern which enables you to drive your car to the racetrack. The advantage of this tyre is its bias ply (wrinkle) side wall. This soft side wall is the best for drag racing as its elasticity sling shots you out of the hole and it cushions your drive train unlike drag radials that can break side shafts. This tyre has been approved for this years North v South event. See picture of tyre below. M&H also has DOT cheater slicks which are street approved but with only two grooves for maximum traction. M&H slicks are used on most of the fastest import cars in the world including Africa’s own Bisi with his all motor 9sec Honda.

Not many know the name M&H, but for those that do they will tell you that it is the best drag tyre around. M&H will help you improve your ET’s with the best rubber and technical advice. A common problem with drag tyres is that they vary in diameter which is both a performance and safety hazard. M&H tyres are sized in pairs from the factory which means that you get a pair of tyres with similar diameters.

This years Speed and Sport Compact has seen many of the top cars winning on M&H or setting personal best times. Contact us for a list of available street or full drag tyres.
